About the Role




Canon USA in Melville, NY is currently seeking a Senior Service Analytics Analyst (Sr Analyst, Service Analytics). The Senior Service Analytics Analyst provides analytical support to the Service Planning Group as well as various levels of Service Management. Supports decision making with in-depth reporting and analysis of Machine, Customer, Technician and Financial performance to ensure future growth and market competitiveness. This position will also review and assess current processes, identify areas for improvement and use all available tools to produce relevant and accurate reporting. Liaison between headquarters and regional Service Management to address issues and ensure clear communication regarding key performance indicators.

This position is full time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance on other days). Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.




Your Impact




- Designs and/or maintains a consolidated Service reporting consisting of system (Oracle and S21) and ad hoc reporting to compile necessary documentation for management evaluation of customer profitability, machine performance as well as technician performance
- Resolves inconsistencies, and transforms and simplifies high-level complex information to develop practical solutions
- Identifies best practices and business improvement opportunities through the reporting and analysis of "normalized" KPI
- Collaborates with development team to constantly improve the performance of the Service -related enhancements
- Collect, clean, and continuously monitor, and resolve data inconsistencies in report results to ensure data integrity
- Creates tools and data models to aid in the visualization and monitoring of Service trend data
- Provides comprehensive customer reporting to include system reports and ad hoc reporting for assigned accounts
- Adapts quickly to the fast-paced work environment




About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring




- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 5 years of related experience
- Degree in Business, Math, Statistics, Computer Science or equivalent preferred
- Experience with service industry knowledge is a plus
- Strong Knowledge of Excel, Power Query, Power BI and relational database software applications
- SQL skills are a plus
- Strong inter-personal, analytical & presentation skills to work with business teams directly and advise them with correct solution
- Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as organizational skills
- Posses excellent accountability skills and ensure that all deliverables completed on or before target
- Acts as a team player and strong contributor to work with dynamic team in an ever changing environment
- Able to articulate issues to management and propose tangible solution to gain their commitment and agreement
- Excellent pattern recognition and predictive modeling skills

We are providing the anticipated salary range for this role: $92,210 - $138,080 annually.
