Job Description

Analyst - Paid Media Consumer Analytics (Subs + Box)

Client is a truly global company, with over 25 titles in 32 markets, and paid subscriptions are key to its success. As a member of our consumer revenue analytics team, you will democratize campaign, test, and subscription funnel data, empowering teams to make informed decisions at strategic and tactical levels.

You will need strong quantitative skills, a solid understanding of performance marketing metrics, and the ability to incorporate data and testing findings into decision-making. Comfort working collaboratively across regions and in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Support paid team with reporting and segmentation needs across tactics, including content marketing and direct response.
  2. Build & maintain reporting dashboards aggregating data from multiple sources.
  3. QA testing plans.
  4. Conduct exploratory and ad-hoc analyses, build audience segments to grow and retain subscribers, focusing on paid acquisition and retention campaigns.
  5. Apply learnings from tests, research, and competitors to find new revenue growth opportunities.
  6. Identify areas in the consumer journey with high potential to grow profit.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
Languages
  • SQL preferred (expected to learn on the job if not known).
  • Python or R a plus.
Technologies
  • Familiarity with querying relational databases.
  • Excel proficiency.
  • Basic understanding of data visualization principles.
Analytics
  • Web analytics, marketing analytics, A/B testing.
  • Knowledge of CDPs and data providers is a plus.
