Job summary

RESORTS CASINO HOTEL in Atlantic City, NJ is seeking a hands-on System & Application Administrator to join our Technology team.

You will manage enterprise infrastructure, virtualization, storage, backup, and mission-critical applications in a fast-paced, 24/7 casino environment, collaborating with business stakeholders and vendors.

This on-site role requires strong VMware, Windows and Linux skills, proactive problem solving, and a commitment to system reliability.

Qualifications

5+ years hands-on experience in server and infrastructure administration.
Experience with VMware ESXi and vCenter in enterprise environment.
Experience administering Windows Server environments.
Experience with Linux server administration.
Experience with Veeam Backup & Replication.
Experience with SAN/NAS storage architecture.
Experience with Pure Storage or equivalent storage.
Understanding of HA, redundancy, disaster recovery, backup, replication concepts.
Server patching, vulnerability remediation, lifecycle management.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with teams, vendors and business stakeholders.
Casino gaming environment/hospitality industry experience desirable.

Responsibilities

Administer VMware ESXi/vCenter clusters and VM lifecycle management.
Maintain Windows Server and Linux server environments.
Apply operating system patches and security updates.
Plan and execute enterprise application upgrades on Windows and Linux servers.
Manage enterprise SAN/NAS storage environments, provisioning, performance, replication.
Administer and monitor Veeam Backup & Replication, backups and restores.
Monitor infrastructure health and address potential issues proactively.
Support high-availability enterprise environment with uptime focus.
Coordinate maintenance with application owners, vendors and teams.
Provide advanced/Tier 3 technical support for server-hosted apps.
Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing and recovery activities.
