Job summary

Kaimetrix, L.L.C. is seeking a Senior Server Operating Systems Engineer to design, implement, secure, and sustain enterprise Windows and Linux server environments supporting DoD operations.

You will modernize and maintain server OS in compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies, RMF requirements, and DISA STIGs while enabling scalable IaaS/PaaS across classified and unclassified spaces. The role requires eight+ years of experience, hands-on Windows Server 2019+ and RHEL 8+, and DoD RMF/STIGs

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of experience supporting enterprise Windows and Linux server environments.
• Hands-on with Windows Server 2019+ and RHEL 8+.
• Experience implementing RMF, DISA STIGs, SCAP, and DoD 8500/8510 requirements.
• Active DoD TS/SCI or higher clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, harden, and maintain enterprise Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Implement and sustain AD, GPOs, LDAP, DNS, PKI, and identity services.
• Apply and validate DISA STIGs, SCAP scans, and RMF controls.
• Automate provisioning, patching, and configuration management.
• Support OS lifecycle sustainment, modernization, and upgrades.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, network, and virtualization teams.
• Develop technical docs, SOPs, and diagrams.
• Support audits, inspections, and Security Readiness Reviews.
