Job summary

AHMC Healthcare in Phoenix seeks a Server Engineer responsible for architectural design, implementation, and advanced engineering of enterprise server infrastructure, including Dell and HP hardware, Windows and Linux systems, and virtualization with VMware vSphere/ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V.

You will ensure high availability, DR planning, and robust security to protect sensitive healthcare data in a HIPAA-compliant environment. On-site support for physical infrastructure is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in systems engineering or infrastructure design.
• Expert in Dell and HP enterprise servers.
• Proficient with VMware vSphere/ESXi and Hyper-V virtualization.
• Deep HIPAA security/compliance knowledge.
• DR/BC design, deployment, and testing experience.
• Automation experience with PowerShell scripting.
• Storage integration with SAN/NAS in physical and virtual environments.
• English communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and deployment of enterprise server solutions for scalable, highly available infrastructure.
• Architect and optimize multi-hypervisor environments using VMware and Hyper-V.
• Design and manage Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP for enterprise identity services.
• Develop automated deployment workflows and scripting for server hardening and patching.
• Provide Tier 3 escalation support for hardware, network, and software issues.
• Design and implement server hardening and HIPAA-compliant security measures.
• Plan, test, and maintain Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity strategies.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and standards.
