Job summary

CNST NanoFab in Gaithersburg, MD seeks a Senior Server Administrator/DevOps Engineer to maintain server infrastructure, automate configurations, and ensure security and availability of CNST IT systems.

The candidate should be a senior-level systems administrator with Linux expertise (Rocky 8/Ubuntu), containerization (Docker), configuration management (Ansible), and CI/CD (GitLab CI/CD). Must hold U.S. citizenship or permanent residency for a NIST site badge.

Qualifications

• Fifteen (15) years of software development and server administration experience.
• Must be U.S. Citizen or permanent resident and eligible for NIST site badge.
• Proficiency in Linux (Rocky 8, Ubuntu) and containerization (Docker).
• Experience with Ansible, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Docker-Compose, Git, Oracle RDBMS, PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

• Maintain CNST NanoFab servers and CI/CD pipelines.
• Apply OS updates and security patches.
• Manage NIST security certificates and configurations.
• Oversee Docker container infrastructure and GitHub/GitLab repos.
• Ensure security posture per NIST policies and DoC requirements.
• Collaborate with IT Security Officer and CNST management.
