Job summary

The Oregon Department of Transportation is seeking a Senior Server Applications Analyst to design, implement and maintain complex enterprise systems across divisions. You will guide system architecture, security, data sharing and disaster planning while collaborating with IT project teams and management.

Hybrid work options are available; you will support mission-critical applications, evaluate new technologies and ensure compliance with agency standards and CJIS requirements after hire.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of information systems experience in information systems management.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field and two (2) years of information systems experience.
• Master’s degree may substitute for all above.
• CJIS certification required after hire.

Responsibilities

• Research, design and construct new systems using server and internet technology.
• Coordinate system planning considering resource use, disaster planning, performance and security.
• Provide expert consultation for intranet or internet technology based systems, on premise and cloud.
• Manage operating system platforms and security for internet communications.
