Job summary

Qualifications

10+ years of pharmaceutical packaging, electrical controls and serialization experience.
Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in Allen-Bradley/Rockwell, Siemens and B&R PLCs, Vision Systems, and related software applications.

Responsibilities

Create electrical schematics, control panel layouts and select components for industrial and automation controls and serialization systems.
Design, implement and qualify PLCs, HMIs, OCR/OCV systems and servo/drive configurations.
Familiar with field instrumentation and machine safety design and implementation.
Provide guidance and mentorship to Engineers and Technicians.
Interface with clients, vendors and internal teams to meet compliance and data integrity requirements.
Manage equipment installation, commissioning and validation activities.
Ensure data integrity across Sharp EPCIS and line-level systems.
Generate reports from EPCIS and site data for analysis and compliance.
Author/review GMP documentation (SOPs, work instructions, MPRs, master data).
Design and utilize VB and SQL scripts for vision tools and database tools.
