Job summary

Omni Design Technologies, Inc. seeks a SerDes analog designer focusing 100Gbps+ wireline technologies (TX and RX).

The successful candidate will develop cutting-edge circuits and architectures for ultra-high-speed wireline communication systems, leading from initial specification through layout supervision, silicon evaluation and product introduction. Candidates should have 10+ years of analog/mixed-signal IC experience in CMOS, hands-on bench evaluation, and proven production success.

Qualifications

• >10+ years in analog or mixed-signal IC development in CMOS
• >High-speed analog design and building blocks for SERDES (ADC/DAC/CTLE/CDR/PLL)
• >Proven track record taking designs to production
• >Experience evaluating silicon on bench with standard lab equipment
• >Strong transistor-level circuit design with noise and mismatch analysis
• >Analog and digital behavioral modeling or synthesis of digital control blocks
• >Familiar with Cadence tools (schematic capture, virtuoso, Spectre, HSPICE)
• >Layout parasitic extraction and layout-dependent impairments
• >Ability to work independently and meet schedules
• >Excellent written and verbal communication across geographies
