Summary

We are currently seeking a full-time Senior SEO Strategist. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years' experience in search engine optimization (SEO) with proven success managing numerous client accounts across a variety of verticals. While this position is an individual contributor, not directly managing people, it is responsible for leading the improvement and effective delivery of the SEO service across the agency. You are data-driven while also being able to effectively and enthusiastically convey complex, sometimes technical, information to a variety of audiences.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Conduct thorough keyword research and analysis to uncover opportunities for content optimization and creation
• Create compelling, high-quality content to enhance search engine visibility, including meta descriptions, page titles, and landing pages
• Coordinate content creation with clients and partners through an editorial calendar, blog outlines, and market trends research
• Update website architecture and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
• Develop and execute link-building strategies to improve domain authority and overall search engine rankings
• Complete regular website audits to identify and resolve technical SEO issues, ensuring optimal crawling, indexing and ranking
• Generate and present detailedreports toanalyze campaign performance
• Mentor and upskill theteam on SEO best practices and the variety of optimization strategies to improve client website rankings
• Join meetings with clients and prospects to explain the benefits of SEO andpersuade them to engage our services
• Perform competitor analysis to identify areas howwe could improve our SEO service offering
• Stay informed regarding industry trends such as changing algorithms

Qualifications

• 5-10 years’ experience in organic search engine optimization
• Expert knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
• Proficiency with tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, ScreamingFrog
• Confident presenting to internal teams and to clients
• Agency experience, working with a variety of advertiser clients
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work within strict deadlines

Work Arrangement

• Hybrid work model: 4 days in-office, 1 day work from home (Fridays)
• Located in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle

Compensation

• $90,000 - $110,000 a year, depending on experience
