GlobalFoundries in Malta, NY, is seeking a candidate for the Failure Analysis Laboratory on a 7PM-7AM night shift. The role requires basic semiconductor failure analysis knowledge, sample preparation and imaging skills, and a strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Requires 2-year technical/associate degree in science, math, engineering or related discipline; plus 2-3 years relevant experience.
• Fluency in English—written and verbal.
• Able to perform 12-hour night shifts.
• Able to follow procedures and documentation with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine analytical jobs using defined procedures to meet quality standards.
• Interact with lab engineers to define analytical methods and interpret results.
• Perform sample preparation (e.g., TEM/SEM) for analyses.
• Use standard software for job management and reporting.
• Assist with training and promote a positive team environment.
• Complete required reporting and documentation.
