Job summary

The MLS League Office is seeking a Principal AI/ML Engineer to design and implement critical semantic data systems across their organization. This role involves building advanced AI infrastructure using LLMs to enhance data-driven decision-making and optimize fan intelligence systems.

The successful candidate will need a Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 8 years of experience in ML engineering, demonstrating expertise in semantic data modeling and experience with AI systems at scale.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 8–10+ years of experience in ML engineering, data systems, or applied AI.
• Strong software engineering skills in Python and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement embedding pipelines across fan data.
• Build and manage knowledge graphs for data relationships.
• Develop retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems.
