Job summary

McKinsey & Company is seeking a Data Scientist to blend analytics with semantic modeling, shaping products and business strategy across enterprise data. You will design predictive models, run large-scale experiments, and help define ontologies and knowledge graphs that connect data.

You’ll work with engineers and domain experts to establish data standards and operationalize models at scale, collaborating on generative AI automations for firm-wide impact.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required; SECRET clearance required; TS+ clearance preferred.
• Minimum 3 years as a Data Scientist; enterprise platform experience preferred.
• Deep knowledge of NLP, Transformers, LLMs, and Generative AI; OpenAI GPT suite experience including multimodal GPT4V/GPT4o.
• Strong Python data modeling and end-to-end pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Blend advanced analytics with semantic modeling to transform data into actionable insights shaping products and business strategy.
• Design predictive models, run large-scale experiments, and surface insights; define ontologies and knowledge graphs.
• Partner with engineers and domain experts to establish data standards and operationalize models and graph services at scale.
• Collaborate on generative AI automations with Client Capabilities Network team.
