Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Nashville seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead Self-Perform Operations (SPO) drywall and general trades projects from kickoff to closeout. You will manage budgets, schedules, staffing, and risk, while coordinating with owners, architects, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, budget control, and procurement oversight, plus the ability to align field operations with company standards and safety

Qualifications

• 6+ years of PM experience on self-perform/trades projects (e.g., framing, drywall, ceilings)
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field preferred
• In-depth knowledge of interior construction systems (metal framing, drywall, CF framing, DFHW)
• Leadership and management skills to supervise teams and activities
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, purchasing, and accounting understanding
• Ability to read and interpret contract documents, drawings, specs, and schedules

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate SPO project management from kickoff to closeout.
• Set up budgets, SOVs, and submittal submissions.
• Procure long lead materials to meet ROJ dates.
• Lead weekly production meetings and work with Superintendents to improve production.
• Generate production rates and communicate variances to management and estimators.
• Identify change conditions and prepare change orders for owner approvals.
• Understand and administer contract and subcontract agreements.
• Promote community involvement and build strategic relationships.
• Collaborate with EH&S to implement safety protocols.
• Oversee pay applications and supplier invoicing; review subcontracts and POs for accuracy.
