Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior SEIT Lead (Product Solutions) in West Los Angeles, CA on a hybrid schedule. You will bridge product requirements with implementation, leading electrical, mechanical, and software teams to deliver ruggedized, mission‑critical systems on schedule.

The role emphasizes risk management, DFM, BOM management, and interface with senior management. Travel is rare; security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or closely related field.
• 6–9+ years of hands‑on experience leading physical product design, system analysis, prototyping, and driving products to production.
• Experience with MIL‑STD requirements and managing compliance testing; familiarity with defense/aerospace standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional engineering teams (EE, ME, Software) to deliver complex, ruggedized products from concept to production.
• Define and refine product requirements, translate into actionable technical specs for design teams.
• Manage risk, schedules, and resources; drive DFMe and production readiness across the lifecycle.
• Plan and supervise product/system integration, testing, and qualification per standards; support field evaluations.
