Job summary

LimnoTech is seeking a Senior Sediment Remediation Specialist to lead complex investigations and modeling for sediment sites across multiple environments. You will drive RI/FS development, CSMs, and remedial design with agency negotiations. This is a senior, full-time role based in our US offices.

The role requires a BS in a physical science, 10+ years in sediment remediation, and active professional licensure. A 40-hour HAZWOPER certification and strong regulatory knowledge are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or closely related physical science discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive sediment remediation experience.
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification with annual refreshers.
• Active PE licensure or PG credentials for science candidates; regulatory knowledge of CERCLA/RCRA.

Responsibilities

• Direct the technical execution of complex sediment remediation projects including RI/FS development and multi-media sampling.
• Evaluate and design remediation options (dredging, capping, MNR) with detailed cost estimates.
• Guide hydrodynamic and fate/transport modeling and interpret results for deliverables and client strategy.
• Manage scopes, schedules, multidisciplinary teams, and client communications; ensure on-time deliverables.
• Provide regulatory support under CERCLA and RCRA; lead agency negotiations and technical support.
• Lead proposals, qualifications, client relationships, and representation at industry conferences.
