Job summary

Automated Systems Design, Inc. Alpharetta, GA, seeks a Security Technician III to program, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain security and access control systems per contract obligations. You will communicate designs to customers, installation teams, and subcontractors, under limited supervision.

The role requires 5+ years in commercial security, strong ACS/CCTV/IDS knowledge, and travel as needed. Mentoring, cost estimation support, and inventory stewardship are also part of the position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years installing commercial security systems.
• Thorough understanding of access control, CCTV and IDS.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Program, commission, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance of security and ACS systems.
• Test products to verify function and analyze failures.
• Review drawings, specs, and material lists for efficient inspection.
• Document and report material discrepancies; maintain cost and schedule adherence.
• Provide technical recommendations and site-specific training for owners and operators.
