Job summary

NextGen Security LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Technician to join our growing team in Midland, TX. You will oversee security projects in the field, perform system programming, and activate and commission deployments of field devices.

The role requires 5+ years installing and maintaining enterprise-level access control, IDS, and IP-based video management systems, plus strong IT networking knowledge and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years installing and maintaining enterprise security systems.
• Experience with access control, IDS, VMS (IP-based).
• Strong networking and IT knowledge.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with local electronic security codes and standards.
• Ability to operate a company vehicle safely.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Visio and MS Project is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Project oversight in the field.
• System programming.
• Project activation and commissioning.
• Installation of field devices.
• Servicing of high-end integrated security devices.
• Some travel may be required.
