Job summary

Vector Security in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Senior Systems Technician to install and service complex commercial security solutions, including wired and wireless systems, access control, and video surveillance. You will troubleshoot network issues and mentor junior technicians while ensuring safe, clean job sites and clear communication with customers.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 3–5 years of industry experience, and valid driver's license (ESA Level 2 preferred).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of industry experience (preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of life safety and home automation equipment experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving history.
• ESA Certified Alarm Technician Level 2 or equivalent (preferred).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to learn hardware and panel programming.

Responsibilities

• Install and service residential & commercial security systems with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot complex systems and network issues; basic integration.
• Train and mentor entry-level and Level 1 technicians on package/less complex systems.
