Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of fire detection and signaling systems experience (burglar, fire alarm, CCTV and access control).
• 5+ years industry experience - Preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Fire Alarm License - Preferred.
• ESA Certified Alarm Technician Level 2 or equivalent - Preferred.
• NICET Fire or Video Level 2 - Preferred.
• Must communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Understands software and programming for primary manufacturers used by the branch.

Responsibilities

• Install/service integrated systems: burglar, card access, video, and fire alarm systems.
• Troubleshoot integrated systems in high-end residential and commercial settings.
• Demonstrate proficiency in software and programming for primary manufacturers used by the branch.
• Assist in design and deployment of projects in accordance with local building codes and AHJs.
• Train and mentor technicians on site and review work for quality.

Summary:

As a Lead Systems Technician, you will be responsible for the i nstallation and/or servicing of integrated systems including Burg and Fire Alarms, Access Control, and Video Solutions . Additional responsibilities include a strong technical aptitude , ability to decipher/design integrated systems in co mpliance with local jurisdiction requirements , and effective interpersonal skills .

Responsibilities:

• Install/service integrated systems:
  • Completeinstallationand/orservicingofvarious typesofintegratedsystems, includingintegrated burg, card access, video, and fire alarm systems.
  • Troubleshoot integrated systems inhigh-endresidential and commercial applications.
  • Demonstrateproficiencyandunderstanding of the software and programming for the primary manufacturers used by branch.
  • Employ logicand experienceto work throughsystem and integrated systemissues.
  • Assistin design and deployment of projects in concert with local and state building codes and communicate effectively with AHJs.
  • Interact and communicate at all levels of the organization and with external customers.Share knowledge, ideas, and solutions.
• Train and mentortechnicians:
  • Review work ofEntryLevelthrough Level 2technicians on shared job site and provide training to correct any errors.
  • Responsible for the work done by all techniciansonhis/her jobs.

• Education & Experience:

  • Must be able to effectively communicate with various individuals in a professional manner in order to provide superior customer service.
• Technical:
  • Understands software and programming for the primary manufacturers used by their home branch.
  • Possesses the skill to decipher/design integrated systems in conjunction with local jurisdiction requirements.
