Job summary

Qualifications

• High school or 2-year electronics degree; relevant certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of security/life safety system installation experience.
• Proficient in hand/power tool operation and safety practices.
• Strong computer skills and ability to work with supervisors to meet specs.
• Valid driver's license, clean record, and insurance; on-call availability.
• Multiple vendor certifications in access control, CCTV, alarm, fire, networking.

Responsibilities

• Perform upgrades/additions to security/life safety systems to increase functionality.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, install, and service related equipment per plans.
• Train others and lead a crew to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with Sales/Engineering for proposals and project design input.
• Maintain safety, quality, and closeout documentation; ensure project turnover.
