Job summary

Vector Security is seeking a Senior Systems Technician in Philadelphia, PA to install complex commercial security systems and mentor junior technicians. You will work with wired and wireless systems, basic access control, and video surveillance, while troubleshooting network issues and ensuring clear communication with customers.

Ideal candidates hold a High School Diploma, 3–5 years of industry experience, and a driver’s license. ESA Level 2 certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of industry experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of life safety and home automation equipment experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history.
• ESA Certified Alarm Technician Level 2 or equivalent preferred.
• Must communicate professionally to provide superior customer service.
• Must understand technical functionality of various systems learnt online or hands-on.

Responsibilities

• Install and service residential and commercial security systems (wired and wireless).
• Troubleshoot complex systems and network issues; assist with basic integration.
• Run and fish wires in a concealed manner and set up system functionality for customers.
• Keep job sites clean and organized for safe operations.
• Mentor and train Entry Level and Level 1 technicians on common systems.
