Job summary

Superior Alarm Systems is a leading security systems integrator specializing in CCTV, access control, intrusion detection and fire alarm systems. The Security Technician IV will install, maintain and troubleshoot security solutions across complex environments, leveraging best-practice electronic, technical and mechanical workflows.

You will work on alarm, video surveillance and access control systems, partnering with customers to assess needs and provide effective, compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a Security Service Technician in a commercial space.
• Working knowledge of Genetec, Bosch and Lenel systems.
• Experience interpreting blueprints, plans, and specifications.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and D-Tools.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and service security systems including intrusion alarms, video surveillance and access control.
• Conduct routine maintenance and testing for proper functionality.
• Identify and troubleshoot malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Collaborate with customers to determine security needs and recommend equipment.
• Provide technical support and address customer questions.
• Keep up-to-date knowledge of security software and hardware used by the company.
• Adhere to local building and electrical codes and maintain accurate records.
