Job summary

SST Direct is seeking a Security Systems Manager for a direct hire opportunity located in Melbourne, FL. This role serves as the technical authority for security projects, leading field teams and maintaining client relationships.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in commercial security systems, a Florida Alarm System Agent License (FASA), and strong leadership skills. Full benefits including PTO and medical are offered, alongside a pay range of $30 - $40 hourly based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must have Florida Alarm System Agent License (FASA) and BASA license.
• At least 5 years of experience in commercial security systems.
• Strong knowledge of IP-based camera and access control technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation and service of security systems.
• Supervise and mentor field technicians.
• Serve as the primary contact throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform site surveys and prepare project estimates.

Skills

Florida Alarm System Agent License (FASA)

5+ years of experience in security systems

IP-based cameras knowledge

Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, PoE)

Supervisory experience

Strong communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
