Job summary

Next Level Technician in Sarasota, FL seeks an experienced Low Voltage Access Control Technician. You will install, troubleshoot, and program security and access control systems, CCTV, and related hardware across commercial sites in Florida. Regional travel may be required.

Competitive pay and benefits offered. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of commercial installation experience, knowledge of telecom networks, and certifications in BICSI or OSHA are a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial installation experience (access control/CCTV)
• Working knowledge of telecom and data networks
• Programming experience in access control and CCTV a plus
• Manufacturer certifications, BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications a plus
• Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
• Willingness to travel to job sites within Florida Region as needed

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, service, and program/commission security and access control devices
• Install door hardware (mag locks, electric strikes, etc.)
• Install, service, and troubleshoot CCTV systems
• Experience servicing access control on Automatic gates is a PLUS
• Read and interpret access control and CCTV blueprints
• Work safely on ladders/lifts (comfortable with heights)
• Support additional low voltage systems as needed at commercial and industrial sites (schools, hospitals, offices, warehouses, etc.)
