Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Tech Specialist 3 to join its Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit in a role that touches design, engineering, integration, operation and maintenance of cyber-physical security solutions for federal, local and commercial clients worldwide.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with access control, video management and related IT/engineering disciplines, and be able to coordinate complex projects across regions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 10+ years of experience installing, troubleshooting and/or testing electronic security systems
• Associates with 8+ years of experience
• Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years experience
• Master's Degree with 3+ years experience
• System administrator experience triaging and resolving system problems
• Vendor certifications for electronic systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Interface regularly with customers, partner teams, key stakeholders and technical experts.
• Coordinate security system refresh projects globally within scope and timeline.
• Mitigate project constraints by region (AMER, APAC, EMEA).
• Ensure compliance with regional and local regulations.
• Execute project deliverables with minimal business disruptions.
• Schedule and document meetings with action items and discussion points.
• Document and schedule project activities with technical details.
• Coordinate logistics of project materials across geographies including shipping, movements and receiving.
• Track and report project progress through the life of the project.
• On-call requirement for project escalations during installation.
• Create, review and submit completion and commissioning reports.
• Manage all risks and communicate with key stakeholders.
• Build and manage deployment schedules and operational costs budgets.
• Experience with physical security access control systems and video management systems.
• Proficient in project management tools and office applications.
