Job summary

JT4, LLC is seeking a Security Specialist IV at Edwards AFB, CA to provide admin and personnel security support for the site security department and to manage clearances, badges, and reinvestigations. The role requires Top-Secret clearance eligibility for SCI and SAP indoctrination and entails coordinating with clearance agencies and advising leadership.

The position offers 40-hour work week with potential evening/weekend shifts and a comprehensive benefits package starting Day 1.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with eight years of related experience in Securit y fields (NISPOM/SAP/SCI).
• Bachelor’s degree with six years related work experience in NISPOM/SAP/SCI security fields.
• Industrial Security Management Course training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily administrative tasks for the site security department.
• Communicates with clearance agencies regarding status of clearances and reinvestigations.
• Obtains certification of existing clearance levels for employees/consultants and prospective employees.
• Issues security badges and maintains logs of badges issued.
• Schedules briefings and notifies staff of schedule changes.
• Fingerprint employees/consultants as required and coordinate reinvestigations.
• Facilitates security briefings for individuals/groups as required.
• Provide security guidance to senior leadership.
• Supports SAP/SCI security operations and security processes.
