Job summary

JT4, LLC seeks a Security Specialist III to support Edwards AFB security operations in Lancaster, CA. The role encompasses daily security administration, badge issuance, and coordination with agencies for clearances and reinvestigations.

Qualified candidates will have a 5-year related security background, knowledge of NISPOM, and the ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance. This is a full-time position with benefits and salary range provided.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent military/technical school and 5 years related work experience in NISPOM/SAP/SCI security fields.
• Must be very knowledgeable with the National Industrial Security Program Operation Manual (NISPOM).
• Must qualify for and maintain a government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and personnel security support to the unit manager and security staff.
• Communicate with clearance granting agency regarding status of clearances and reinvestigations.
• Issue security badges to designated employees and visitors and maintain logs of issued badges.
