Job summary

Lumen seeks a Security Solutions Architect to advise on cybersecurity and architect complex security solutions for enterprise customers. This senior role requires a consultative mindset, strong stakeholder engagement, and deep technical expertise across security domains.

The ideal candidate translates business and security requirements into scalable, customer-focused designs while partnering with sales, engineering, and executives. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent information security experience.
• 10+ years in information security, with leadership on complex engagements.
• Strong knowledge of networking, cloud technologies, DevOps, and security platforms.
• Experience across multiple security disciplines and executive communication.
• Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, GSEC or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Transform customer security requirements into scalable security solutions and architectures.
• Lead security solution development for strategic initiatives and high-visibility opportunities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to build consensus on approaches and strategies.
• Architect and position managed and professional security services.
• Develop diagrams, statements of work, and customer-facing collateral.
• Provide thought leadership and contribute to new security offerings.
• Present security strategies to executive leadership and technical audiences.
