Job summary

ExtraHop is seeking a Senior Security Solutions Architect to join our Solutions Architecture team as a Resident Architect, supporting a major Enterprise customer in a post-sales capacity.

You will design cloud networking solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP, develop Python/JavaScript tools, and work with SOCs on incident response to improve outcomes. This role blends hands-on engineering with strategic guidance in a fast-growing security platform.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of relevant experience
• BS degree or equivalent
• Experience with cloud and security architecture with AWS, GCP, and Azure
• Experience in customer-facing positions; excellent interpersonal skills
• Understanding of core networking principles (layers 2 through 4 of the OSI model) and application protocols (HTTP, SQL, CIFS/NFS, HL7, Memcache, DNS)
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript
• Excellent written communication skills
• Independence, motivation, and desire for practice ownership

As a member of our Solutions Architecture team, you’ll play a critical role in the success of our customers, products and position in the marketplace. The salary range for this role is $150,000 - $163,000 + bonus + benefits
