Job summary

SpaceX is hiring a Sr. Security Software Engineer for Starlink to shape the security of software across product lines. You will design cryptographic services, implement security features, and work with teams to improve the security posture of Starlink systems.

You should have strong software development skills, cryptography knowledge, and experience securing large-scale infrastructure. The role offers extensive benefits and opportunities on an interplanetary scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a STEM discipline with 5+ years in security software development; OR 7+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with Python, C++, or Golang for security software.
• Experience designing security for operating systems, distributed systems, or large-scale infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and build security infrastructure for Starlink, including cryptographic services and security-critical services.
• Develop security features for Starlink systems, including router, dish, gateways, and satellites.
• Integrate security into factory processes and provide network services to support them.
