Tempus is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II in security to lead complex IAM and observability implementations across a micro-service architecture. You will collaborate with product teams and stakeholders to balance priorities and deliver secure, scalable services.

Key tooling includes Auth0, Okta, Chronicle, Terraform, and cloud platforms (GCP/AWS). This role emphasizes mentoring, independent execution, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading security engineering implementations across micro-service architectures.
• Hands-on with identity management platforms and cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with security standards and modern tooling.

Responsabilités

• Lead complex implementations for the security engineering team to ensure best-in-class customer identity management, authorization, and observability systems.
• Improve existing security micro-services and tooling by identifying gaps and adopting emerging standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to implement internal security standards across a micro-service driven architecture.
• Own configuration of complex tooling such as Auth0, Okta, Auth0-FGA, Chronicle, Terraform, and GCP.
