Job summary

Bumble is seeking a Senior Security Software Engineer in Austin to build software, data, and observability foundations strengthening security across products and platforms.

You will collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, platform, Trust & Safety, and security teams to embed secure-by-design practices, develop scalable data pipelines, and improve detection and response capabilities.

AI tools will be used thoughtfully to boost productivity while keeping human judgment central.

Qualifications

• Experience building distributed systems in production.
• Strong background in security engineering practices.
• Proficient in observability, monitoring, and incident response.
• Experience with data pipelines and telemetry.
• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures.
• Ability to influence technical direction across teams.
