Google LLC in Sunnyvale, CA, is seeking a Security Engineer to protect network boundaries, harden systems, and provide security services to safeguard sensitive data. You will collaborate with software engineers to identify and fix security flaws and drive incident resolution.

The role involves working with silicon design, verification, and EDA tool workflows, with a focus on open source roots of trust such as Caliptra and OpenTitan, and interfacing with vendor design verification projects.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with security assessments or security design reviews or threat modeling.
• 5 years of experience with security engineering, computer and network security and security protocols.
• 5 years of coding experience in one or more general purpose languages.
• Experience with EDA tools and typical ASIC design and verification flows.

Responsabilidades

• Protect network boundaries and harden computer systems and network devices while providing security services to protect sensitive data.
• Work with software engineers to proactively identify and fix security flaws and vulnerabilities.
• Own and drive the resolution of complex security incidents, policy questions and technical security issues.
• Work directly with network equipment and monitor systems for attacks and intrusions.
