Job summary

The role requires extensive experience in embedded systems, security standards, and C/C++/Rust, with leadership in design and architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 7 years of experience with embedded operating systems.
• 5 years of experience with design and architecture; and testing/launching software products.
• Experience with Embedded Systems, Security Standards and C, C++, and Rust.

Responsibilities

• Defend the security firmware and hardware foundation of the world’s most critical infrastructure.
• The Platforms Security team engineers the hardware and firmware roots of trust that defend Google’s fleet against sophisticated, nation-state threats.
• Build the foundational layer: Design and deploy authenticated Roots of Trust and trusted execution environments directly into data center silicon and hardware.
• Engineer resilience at scale: Push cutting-edge firmware, driver innovations, and real-time reliability platforms across millions of machines.
