Job summary

Equus Workforce Solutions is seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee security staff on scheduled shifts and ensure safety protocols are followed on center grounds and facilities. The role requires calm incident response, documentation of events, and coordination with on-site supervisors and law enforcement when needed.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of related security or youth-facing experience, along with a valid driver’s license and a GED or high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year related security experience preferred.
• Experience working with youth required.
• Valid driver’s license in state of employment with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Supervises security personnel on assigned shifts to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Acts as primary on-center contact for on-duty supervisors, law enforcement and staff when Safety/Security Manager is unavailable.
• Performs security inspections of grounds and facility; documents results.
• Responds to incidents and de-escalates disturbances; reports major incidents to supervisor and center director.
