Job summary

Carnival Corporation is seeking a Senior Security Analyst for Financial Systems within the GFiT Governance & Security team. The role leads advanced security monitoring, risk assessments, and control activities across the GFiT environment, aligning with ITGC/SOX and regulatory expectations.

The position involves hands-on security operations, incident response, and collaboration with application, infrastructure, and governance teams, including support for internal and external audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Management or a related field.
• Professional certification in compliance or financial systems (e.g., GIFS, CISM, CEH, SSCP) is preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT Security, Security Operations, IT Audit and/or compliance of financial systems.
• Experience with security/regulatory standards and best practices in financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Security Monitoring & Incident Management: lead monitoring and analysis of security alerts and logs from security tools; identify trends, anomalies, and threats impacting GFiT financial systems.
• Risk Assessment & Control Oversight: conduct risk assessments; identify control gaps; recommend remediation strategies; evaluate security impact of system changes.
• Implementation & Change Support: serve as SME during implementations; advise on secure design and configuration; review change requests for policy alignment.
• Audit, Compliance & Documentation: support auditors; collect evidence; ensure audit readiness and remediation.
• Continuous Improvement: provide guidance; develop security standards and procedures; raise opportunities to leadership.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
