Job summary

Carnival Corporation is seeking a Senior Security Analyst, Financial Systems to lead advanced security monitoring across the GFiT environment, perform risk assessments, and oversee control activities for financial systems. The role supports audits and collaborates with application, infrastructure, and governance teams to ensure secure delivery and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Systems Management or related field.
• Professional certification in compliance or financial systems.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT Security, Security Operations, IT Audit and/or compliance of financial systems.
• Proven track record of managing security initiatives and regulatory assessments.
• Experience with security/regulatory standards and best practices in financial systems.
• Familiarity with financial systems and security tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external security/audit representatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced monitoring and analysis of security alerts and logs from security tools, identifying trends and threats impacting financial systems.
• Conduct in-depth investigation of complex security events, including root-cause analysis and coordination of remediation with technical teams.
• Serve as escalation point for higher-risk or cross-functional security issues.
• Conduct and support security risk assessments across the environment, identifying control gaps and remediation strategies.
• Evaluate security impact of system changes, new applications and enhancements.
• Support ITGC and SOX control execution related to security monitoring, access management, and incident response.
• Act as security SME during implementations of new applications and infrastructure changes.
• Review security requirements, designs, and change requests to ensure alignment with standards.
• Partner with teams to embed security considerations into delivery plans.
• Serve as a point of contact for auditors, supporting walkthroughs and evidence collection.
• Review and validate security documentation and evidence for audit readiness.
