Ladders seeks a Senior Security Researcher to lead deep technical research into vulnerabilities and exploit techniques across modern software environments. You will shape security testing methods, build scalable research workflows, and translate complex findings into practical guidance for internal teams.

In this remote role, collaborate with product and engineering partners, mentor junior researchers, and contribute to the security community through publications and presentations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in offensive security, vulnerability research, or a related area
• 3+ years with notable publications or CVE disclosures
• Expertise in modern application stacks such as Node.js, Go, and Python
• Strong understanding of OS fundamentals, including Linux and Windows
• Proven experience crafting PoC exploits for complex vulnerabilities
• Strong skills in Python, Go, Bash, or Rust for automation and tooling
• Ability to clearly document technical findings for diverse audiences
• US-based candidates only, preferably EST or CST

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Security Researcher to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.
This role will lead deep technical research into emerging threats, advanced vulnerabilities, and exploit techniques across a range of modern software environments. The ideal candidate will help shape security testing methods, build scalable research workflows, and turn complex findings into practical guidance for internal teams. In this highly visible position, you will collaborate closely with product and engineering partners while also contributing thought leadership to the broader security community.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 annually
