Job summary

Quanta is seeking a Senior Manager, Security Engineering to lead a small team that designs, builds, and runs the security platform stack across endpoints, cloud, and identity. This is a hands-on engineering leadership role focused on building and hardening security capability, not on-call operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Cybersecurity/IT or equivalent.
• 8+ years IT/cybersecurity, including 5+ years security engineering or architecture.
• 3+ years leading technical teams with hiring and performance management.
• End-to-end ownership of enterprise security platforms at scale.
• Hands-on experience with endpoint protection and SIEM platforms.
• Experience engineering cloud security controls on Azure or AWS.
• Strong communication of technical risk to executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the security platform stack end to end, including deployment, integration, and retirement.
• Build and maintain integrations between security platforms and enterprise systems.
• Enforce cloud security controls with guardrails, logging, encryption, and identity.
• Lead security through mergers & acquisitions, pre-close due diligence and post-close integration.
• Mentor a small team of security engineers and manage hiring and growth.
• Partner with IT leaders to standardize controls across autonomous units.
