Job summary

Quanta Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Manager of Security Engineering to lead a team responsible for designing, building, and operating Quanta's security technology stack across endpoints, SIEM, and cloud controls.

You will own platform integrations, drive security initiatives in mergers and acquisitions, and set technical direction for the team. The role requires hands-on engineering depth, leadership experience, and strong communication to explain risk to executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
• 8+ years in IT and cybersecurity, including 5+ years hands-on in security engineering/architecture.
• 3+ years leading technical teams, including hiring and performance management.
• Experience with enterprise security platforms at scale (endpoints, SIEM, data pipelines).
• Experience engineering cloud security controls on major cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own and design the security platform stack end to end, including endpoints, SIEM, security automation, and access controls.
• Build and maintain integrations between security platforms and enterprise systems via APIs and connectors.
• Enforce cloud security controls across approved platforms, including guardrails, logging, encryption, and access management.
• Lead security engineering for mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and post-close integration.
• Mentor a small team of security engineers and manage hiring and performance.
