Job summary

Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. in Kansas is seeking a Security Platform Engineer III to design, implement, and mature enterprise SIEM, SOAR, and Identity Detection and Response capabilities across the security operations program.

This role emphasizes platform strategy, data quality, integrations, automation, and operational readiness, enabling analysts, responders, and threat hunters to improve visibility, alert fidelity, and investigation speed within a high‑stability aerospace setting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with enterprise security monitoring, automation, detection, or response platforms.
• Strong understanding of SIEM, SOAR, and Identity Detection and Response concepts including data ingestion, normalization, enrichment, alerting, workflows, and reporting.
• Experience with documentation, coordination, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize enterprise SIEM, SOAR, and Identity Detection and Response capabilities.
• Support platform upgrades, integrations, and content updates.
• Ensure logs, evidence, and documentation are accurate and available for audits.
