Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Principal Engineer I to lead cloud and SaaS security initiatives, focusing on posture, attack surface reduction, and regulatory compliance. You will own platform onboarding, integration, and runbooks, coordinating with the CISO Office and multiple partners to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable SaaS solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of progressive information security engineering experience focusing on cloud/SaaS security and posture management.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, Entra; configurations for M365, Workday, Salesforce, ServiceNow a plus.
• Proficiency with APIs, Python or PowerShell scripting, and REST/webhook patterns.
• Experience integrating security tooling with SIEM/SOAR, ServiceNow, and IAM platforms (SailPoint/Entra preferred).
• Advanced to expert regulatory and legal compliance knowledge; able to lead cross-functional teams and audits.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME expertise and drive large, complex design efforts across SaaS security domains.
• Onboard new SaaS platforms, configure, integrate, and operate them end-to-end.
• Design baseline policies, detection rules, posture benchmarks across SaaS apps.
• Build API/event-driven integrations between SSPM/ASM and SIEM, SOAR, IAM ecosystems.
• Collaborate with BISO, 2LOD, and cross-functional teams to meet enterprise standards.
• Maintain runbooks, dashboards, and posture metrics for leadership and auditors.
