Morrison Foerster is seeking an Associate Director of Security Operations to serve as the firm’s operational and technical authority across security operations, incident response, threat detection, and digital forensics. Based in one of several US cities, you will drive detection maturity and playbooks while coordinating with the CISO and legal teams.

As a hands‑on leader, you will supervise the 24/7 MDR/MSSP relationship, run incident commander duties during critical events, and advance SOAR

Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise security operations and incident response.
• Proven ability to manage 24x7 MSP/MSSP relationships.
• Strong leadership and cross‑functional communication with lawyers and executives.

Responsabilités

• Lead the incident response program and act as incident commander.
• Oversee security monitoring across networks, endpoints, mail, and cloud.
• Automate triage and response with SOAR.
• Develop detection coverage and playbooks.
• Coordinate with MSP and external counsel.
• Drive data‑driven staffing justifications and projects.
