Morrison Foerster is seeking an Associate Director, Security Operations to lead and scale the firm’s security programs within the Information Technology team. You will spearhead incident response, detection engineering, threat intelligence, and forensic investigations for a high-stakes legal environment.

As a player-coach, you’ll manage the MDR/MSSP partnership, drive SOAR automation, and collaborate with CISO, CIIO, OGC, and cloud teams to mature defenses and enable strategic staffing plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
• CISSP or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
• Advanced degree preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Lead the Firm's incident response program from preparation to lessons learned.
• Act as incident commander for critical incidents and coordinate third-party retainers.
• Oversee security monitoring across networks, endpoints, email, and cloud; manage MSP relationship.
• Develop and refine SOAR automations and detection playbooks.
• Drive threat intelligence and vulnerability management collaboration with IT and Legal.
