Morrison Foerster is seeking an Associate Director of Security Operations to lead our 24/7 security program. You will direct incident response, threat hunting, and detection engineering while coordinating with the CISO, CIIO, OGC, and cloud teams.

In a high-stakes legal environment, you will drive automation, develop playbooks, and ensure policy compliance across networks, endpoints, and cloud services. This role offers senior leadership in a dynamic, law‑firm setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Information Security, CS, IS, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• CISSP or equivalent certification strongly preferred; GIAC certifications a plus.
• Advanced degree preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Lead incident response program from prep to lessons learned.
• Serve as incident commander during critical incidents and coordinate third-party responders.
• Investigate, contain, and remediate incidents with cross-team collaboration.
• Develop and test response playbooks and tabletop exercises.
• Oversee security monitoring, alert triage, and escalation with MSP/MSSP.
• Drive detection engineering, threat hunting, and threat intelligence initiatives.
