Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer to join the Security Operations team. The role focuses on monitoring, response, tooling, workflows, and cross-team coordination to protect the company from cyber threats. It is hands-on and requires collaboration with IT, vendors, and business units.

The position is permanent and hybrid, located near one of the customer’s main offices. The role can pay up to $150,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, incident response, IT operations, networking, or related role.

Responsibilities

• Investigate alerts, respond to incidents, and follow up on vulnerabilities.
• Improve operational workflows and security tooling coordination.
• Turn security events into clear action, documentation, and remediation.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, IT, infrastructure, vendors, and business teams.
