Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Security Operations Center (SOC) Manager – Deputy Program Manager to support the DMDC and DHRA within OUSD P&R. You will lead a large, multi-environment SOC, directing incident response, threat detection, and continuous monitoring across thousands of devices and hundreds of applications.

The role requires a Secret clearance, DoD 8140 certification, and DCWF-aligned capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in cybersecurity or related field; 10+ years in cybersecurity operations or SOC leadership.
• Proven experience leading enterprise SOC teams and incident response in large, complex environments.
• Experience developing SOC procedures, playbooks, workflows, and performance metrics.
• Strong understanding of enterprise cybersecurity operations, SIEM, EDR, and threat detection.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and operational management of the Security Operations Center (SOC).
• Mentor and develop a high-performing cybersecurity team for continuous monitoring, threat detection, and incident response.
• Direct enterprise cyber incident response activities with rapid detection, analysis, containment, and recovery.
• Interface with Government leadership to report status, threats, and incidents.
• Develop and continuously improve SOC SOPs, playbooks, workflows, and training programs.
• Establish priorities and metrics to improve SOC effectiveness and analyst readiness.
• Coordinate cyber defense activities across Government, contractors, and external CSSPs.
• Oversee continuous monitoring across networks, endpoints, and cloud environments.
• Support RMF guidance and DoD 8140 certification requirements.
