Job summary

Signal Security of Hawaii is hiring an Advanced Security Officer for a commercial site in Kahului. You will oversee site operations, mentor a security team, and ensure post orders and safety standards are followed.

Two years in security and a valid Hawaii Guard Card are required. A driver’s license with a clean record and ability to pass background checks are essential, along with strong communication and a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in security or related field.
• Active Hawaii State Guard Card (required).
• Valid driver’s license with clean record (required).
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening (required).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and hold a team accountable.
• Professional appearance and conduct at all times.
• Reliable transportation and a communication device.
• Physically able to lift up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee security operations at a commercial site.
• Lead and support a team of officers on shift.
• Assist training and onboarding of new officers.
• Ensure adherence to post orders and procedures.
• Patrol vehicle and foot patrols; monitor access points.
