Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Security Installation Technician III for an onsite role in Rochester, NY. You will install cameras, card access, and fire alarms for commercial sites, reading blueprints and terminating Cat6 cabling.

The role requires knowledge of fire alarm codes and experience with multiple brands to keep up with technology changes. This is a contract-to-hire position with a pay range of $38.00–$50.00/hr.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and terminate Cat6 cable.
• Knowledge of commercial fire alarm codes (pull stations, smoke detectors).
• Versed in multiple security brands and up-to-date with technology changes.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
